Where Should an OEM Logo Go on Recessed COB Spotlights for Wholesale Orders?
Planning a private-label spotlight order? Confirm logo position, colour and sample approval before recessed COB spotlights enter production.

A distributor recently asked for a discreet logo on recessed COB spotlights. The practical answer is to choose a flat, visible area that does not interfere with the optical opening, installation or product markings. Logo size, colour and position should be approved on a pre-production sample before the full order starts.
Where should the logo be placed?
Should it go on the front trim or the housing?
A small mark on the front trim is easier to see after installation. A mark on the housing is more discreet but may be hidden inside the ceiling. Choose the position according to how visible the buyer wants the brand to be.
Should black and white housings use the same logo colour?
Not automatically. A dark logo may work on a white trim but disappear on a black finish. Confirm a separate colour reference for each housing and review real photos under normal lighting.
What must be approved before production?
Record the artwork version, logo dimensions, colour reference, exact position and printing method. Check the product logo and inner-box label together. Approve a physical sample or clear production sample photos before mass production.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the logo be made less noticeable?
Yes. Use a smaller size, lower-contrast colour or a less visible position, subject to the available printing area.
What artwork file should the buyer provide?
A vector file is preferred. The supplier should also receive the required size and colour reference.
Can one logo colour be used on every finish?
Sometimes, but black and white housings should be reviewed separately before approval.
